At Event Photojournalism, our team of professional photographers helps you realistically document any event from company galas, nonprofit charity events, and corporate banquets. We love them all, but in this post, we want to give some love and support to our military members who sacrifice so much to protect our freedom.
Our team had the great honor of photographing the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s “Stand up for Heroes” event held at International Trade Center & Ronald Regan Building in Washington DC. There was laughter. There were tears. The event featured inspiring stories, motivational heroes, and wonderful music. We truly had a wonderful time capturing it all as the even unfolded.
While it’s always exciting to see and hear from pop stars and celebrities, this event’s most captivating material is always the words that come from our unsung heroes – the individual men and women who place their lives on the line so that we can freely live ours.
This year, the overall theme was “REMIND.” In the busyness of our private lives, it’s easy to forget what is going on all around the world and that there are Americans out there working hard on our behalf. It was refreshing to watch the audience take time to pause and reflect in between the entertainment. Every part of the event was centered on reminding us to continually stand up with and for these men and women.
Although our team was continuously snapping photos of each moment, it was a moment for us as well to show our appreciation and gratitude. Our hope was that these sincere sentiments were accurately captured and preserved through our photography. What an evening to remember!
If you have an upcoming event, we would be more than happy to help you document each moment through photojournalistic images. When you partner with us, you are free to enjoy your event knowing that you’ll have vivid photos to share and relive later. Get in touch with us [HERE].
