Event Spaces We Photograph
Main Hall
The iconic vaulted hall. Venue figures commonly cite about 2,200 seated or 3,400–4,500 standing depending on the hold. Gold-leaf ceiling, marble floor, and huge windows. This is a scale assignment: wide establishing frames plus human moments, or the gallery becomes only architecture.
Main Hall-East
A combined or partial hold when the full Main Hall is not required. Destination DC lists roughly 650 seated or 1,600 standing.
East Hall
A more controllable gala room: about 31-foot ceilings, marble, and published ranges around 450 seated, 350 with a dance floor, or 800 standing.
Presidential Suite
The historic presidential waiting rooms. About 130 seated, 270 theater, or 350 standing. Better for intimate dinners and receptions than a 2,000-person ball.
Columbus Club
Smaller historic room with strong windows and wall detail. Destination DC lists about 180 banquet or the high 200s to low 300s standing.
