Standard conference delivery is an edited gallery on the timeline in your agreement. Rush fees apply when you need usable files before that gallery is due—usually for an attendee email, press recap, or same-week board report.
Rush is not a faster version of the full shoot. It is a separate, smaller delivery pulled forward.
What rush usually means
- Same-day or next-morning highlights: a tight set of speaker, branding, and networking frames
- Priority full gallery: the complete edit delivered sooner than the standard window
- Multi-day conferences: highlights after day one, with the rest of the meeting still being covered
The fee covers evening edit time, reduced sleep-to-delivery hours, and the fact that the conference may still be in session while files are being prepared.
What does not count as rush
- A full unedited dump at midnight
- Every breakout from a two-photographer day, fully edited by 7 a.m.
- A complete gallery with no highlight pass first
If you need volume and speed, say so. The proposal should describe the size of the rush set—not only the clock.
When to book it
Ask when you inquire, not when the keynote ends. Rush capacity is limited, especially during DC convention weeks.
