Event Spaces We Photograph
Flag Hall
The museum’s central “town square,” at the entrance to the Star-Spangled Banner Gallery. Planning ranges are about 500+ standing or 350 seated. Third-floor balconies can add cocktail space with views into the hall.
Wallace H. Coulter Performance Plaza
Built-in stage and demonstration kitchen. About 500 standing, 250 seated, or 275 theater. Useful when the program includes remarks, performance, or a demonstration.
Wallace H. Coulter Unity Square
Windows and access toward the Mall Terrace, with Monument views. About 300 standing or 200 seated.
Presidential Reception Suite
The most formal intimate room, used as a holding and reception space for high-profile guests. Best for small gatherings rather than a full gala dinner.
Rooftop Terrace
Seasonal outdoor option with Mall views, often cited around 300–350 guests depending on setup.
Warner Bros. Theater
Presentation space, about 264 theater, sometimes paired with a nearby reception.
Food and beverage stay in non-exhibition rooms. Galleries may be opened for viewing, not for dining beside objects.
