Meridian International Center Event and Conference Photographer
Meridian International Center convenes diplomacy, business, and cultural programs on a historic campus at 1630 Crescent Place NW. The work happens in Meridian House and White-Meyer House: drawing rooms, a library, a dining room, gardens, and the Linden Grove. These are not convention breakouts. They are furnished rooms with a guest list that often includes ambassadors, officials, and institutional partners.

What the Assignment Usually Is
A Meridian day or evening tends to include:
- Arrivals at the houses
- Opening remarks or a fireside conversation
- A panel or salon discussion
- Breakouts if the forum splits
- Networking in the Drawing Room or Linden Grove
- A dinner or reception that closes the program
The Meridian Ball and related ambassador dinners use the same campus at a larger scale. Coverage still has to stay quiet.

Official photos belong on the timeline. In these rooms, people sit down and the chance is gone.
What the Photographs Should Do
Show that the conversation happened. Speaker frames, listening shots, and genuine exchanges matter more here than wide architecture. The houses already have presence. They do not need to be the subject of every picture.
